Problem First

This project is a step-by-step product thinking tool designed for Product Managers and Product Designers who want to move from an initial idea to a production-ready product with confidence.

Instead of starting with features or screens, the experience prioritizes problem definition, user understanding, and hypothesis-driven decision making. The tool guides users through the full product journey: identifying the problem, defining users and stakeholders, forming and validating hypotheses, scoping an MVP, thinking through UX and critical states, planning a roadmap, and defining success metrics.

The interface is intentionally minimalist and focused, using progressive disclosure to reduce cognitive load and encourage thoughtful input at each step. A built-in “Product Mentor” provides contextual guidance and feedback to help surface biases, unclear assumptions, and weak metrics.

The outcome is a clear, structured product brief that helps teams align, communicate decisions, and move into execution with a shared understanding of what to build and why.
