PitchPivot helps designers turn design rationale into business impact — and prepare confidently for tough stakeholder questions.

Designers are often judged not only by what they create, but by how convincingly they can articulate why it matters. Even with strong storytelling skills, many struggle to gain influence in strategic conversations — especially when their reasoning doesn’t yet resonate with business-focused audiences.

This project began with a simple question:
Why do designers — despite strong narrative abilities — still struggle to gain strategic influence?
And how might AI help them adapt their reasoning early, so their work lands with greater impact?

PitchPivot supports designers during their work, while decisions, trade-offs, and arguments are still forming. Instead of focusing on presentation output, the tool helps designers reflect on, test, and evolve their reasoning before alignment moments happen.

The project explores two core capabilities:
• Impact Framing
Helps translate design reasoning into outcome-oriented language by identifying UX jargon and reframing decisions in terms of impact, trade-offs, and business relevance.
• Pushback Pivot
Simulates realistic stakeholder questions to stress-test arguments, surface blind spots, and help designers adapt their reasoning with confidence.

PitchPivot is intentionally positioned upstream in the design process — supporting clearer thinking, stronger strategic alignment, and more confident cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Built with Lovable, this project explores AI as a partner for refining design reasoning and strengthening designers’ strategic voice — not by replacing their judgment, but by helping them sharpen it earlier and more deliberately.
